Flawless Face

Are you looking for a flawless face? Then read on...

Recently I've been experiencing super dry skin in the summertime. You would think it would be oily and shiny from the heat; nope! Well to create this flawless look, I'm going to list the products I used down below.

To Prep Your Face for Makeup:
1: Cleanse - Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash
2: Tone - Witch Hazel
3: Moisturize - Clinqiue Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
4: Prime - Avon Magix Face Perfector
5: Conceal: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind for Dark Circles (Use under the eyes); Sonia Kashuk Mineral Concealer in Pale Ivory (To cover blemishes)
6: Prime Eyes - Milani Eyeshadow Primer

Makeup Application:
1: Eyeshadow - Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo in Inked in Pink (all over lid)
2: Eyeliner - Physicians Formula in Smoky Eyes (Black)
3: Curl your eyelashes
4: Mascara - Maybelline One By One Waterproof Mascara
5: Face - Physicians Formula Translucent Light Mineral Face Powder
6: Finishing Veil  - Physicians Formula Translucent Finishing Veil
7: Cheeks - Physicians Formula Mineral Blush in Blushing Glow
8: Eyebrows - Clinque Eyeshadow Quad - light brown color
9: Lips - Maybelline Baby Lips in Twinkle

Now by no means feel like you have to go purchase all these products. This is just what I used to create this look. Feel free to use any kind of makeup you prefer. The whole idea is to create a flawless, every day look that's simple and easy. I know it looks like a lot of steps but really it doesn't take me that long to create this look. I start with the eyes first and then finish my face.

My Daily Makeup

Here's a picture of my daily makeup. I will explain what I use and the steps in which I apply it.

Step 1: Cleanse your face really good - I use Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash because it's gentle and doesn't leave any soapy residue behind. Pat dry.

Step 2: Tone your face - I use Witch Hazel - place small amount on cotton ball and rub in circular motion all over your face. Let dry.

Step 3: Moisturize your face* - any face moisturizer or lotion will do. I use Jergens Original formula lotion. Let dry for at least 5 minutes.

*Even if you have oily skin, it's best to do these 3 steps because it really sets your face for foundation application.

My daily makeup application:

Step 1: Blend with your fingers Revlon Photoready BB Cream ($8.49 at Target) all over your face. I love this product!!! It acts as a primer, concealer, moisturizer and foundation all-in-one (I have super dry skin so I always apply an extra moisturizer before using this makeup).

Step 2: Apply Milani Eyeshadow Primer ($6.49) all over eyelids. Let dry for 30 seconds. (This is a dupe for Too Faced Eye Insurance Primer)

Step 3: Apply Maybelline 24HR color tattoo "Inked in Pink" ($5.94 at Target, or BOGO 1/2 at most drug stores) all over eyelids with either your fingers or I like to use a small makeup brush.

Step 4: Apply Ulta Precision Liquid Liner in Smoke Grey (right now $3 at ULTA) to upper lash line and lower lash line (stay as close to the lashes as you can)

Step 5: Apply Maybelline's The Rocket Waterproof Mascara in Very Black ($4.94 with $1 off coupon at Target) to upper and lower lashes

Step 6: Apply NYC Smooth Skin Face Powder in Translucent  ($2 or 3) all over the face using a total face brush

Step 7: Apply Too Faced Leopard Love Blush (Got it at Ulta, but they don't sell it anymore, $28 online) on the apples of the cheeks for a pop of color

Step 8: (not pictured) Apply your favorite lipstick, lipstain, lipgloss or lip crayon color (For this look a soft pink or nude lipstick gives you a natural look)

*I will try to upload a video showing you step-by-step this routine of mine.
