My Daily Makeup

Here's a picture of my daily makeup. I will explain what I use and the steps in which I apply it.

Step 1: Cleanse your face really good - I use Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash because it's gentle and doesn't leave any soapy residue behind. Pat dry.

Step 2: Tone your face - I use Witch Hazel - place small amount on cotton ball and rub in circular motion all over your face. Let dry.

Step 3: Moisturize your face* - any face moisturizer or lotion will do. I use Jergens Original formula lotion. Let dry for at least 5 minutes.

*Even if you have oily skin, it's best to do these 3 steps because it really sets your face for foundation application.

My daily makeup application:

Step 1: Blend with your fingers Revlon Photoready BB Cream ($8.49 at Target) all over your face. I love this product!!! It acts as a primer, concealer, moisturizer and foundation all-in-one (I have super dry skin so I always apply an extra moisturizer before using this makeup).

Step 2: Apply Milani Eyeshadow Primer ($6.49) all over eyelids. Let dry for 30 seconds. (This is a dupe for Too Faced Eye Insurance Primer)

Step 3: Apply Maybelline 24HR color tattoo "Inked in Pink" ($5.94 at Target, or BOGO 1/2 at most drug stores) all over eyelids with either your fingers or I like to use a small makeup brush.

Step 4: Apply Ulta Precision Liquid Liner in Smoke Grey (right now $3 at ULTA) to upper lash line and lower lash line (stay as close to the lashes as you can)

Step 5: Apply Maybelline's The Rocket Waterproof Mascara in Very Black ($4.94 with $1 off coupon at Target) to upper and lower lashes

Step 6: Apply NYC Smooth Skin Face Powder in Translucent  ($2 or 3) all over the face using a total face brush

Step 7: Apply Too Faced Leopard Love Blush (Got it at Ulta, but they don't sell it anymore, $28 online) on the apples of the cheeks for a pop of color

Step 8: (not pictured) Apply your favorite lipstick, lipstain, lipgloss or lip crayon color (For this look a soft pink or nude lipstick gives you a natural look)

*I will try to upload a video showing you step-by-step this routine of mine.

  1. Nice. Why don't you start a blog to help teens learn to apply makeup properly? Or maybe even just to introduce those less aware of the products out there...
